Genesis Be has been fighting to change the Mississippi State Flag for many years. This year, the death of George Floyd and #BLM movements with more support than ever, created a necessity for Mississippi to move forward with a new flag. The Confederate symbol is no longer flying over public buildings in Mississippi.
