Flower Power endures!
Summer arrived with inspiration for a pop-up show of artHYPE artists who feature floral themes in their work.
artHYPE's Flower Power exhibition is not a direct reference to the 1960s peace movement, but rather an emphasis on the endurance and appreciation of floral forms and fresh contributions by artists.
Featuring cinematographer Dan Rutkowski's “Strange Flora” series, Flower Power is contemporary take on nature in art. Lady Lea's Flora series transforms flowers into liquids, see Roberta Fay Hyman’s colorful abstraction in watercolor, and this pop-up exhibit includes Michael MP Griffin's painterly treatment of daisies, and Garden of Earthly Delights.
Genesis Be's Summer Sex painting is displayed in the Living Room gallery, also on show now is work from Alec Aita, Jaime Coffey, Debbie Y.J. Lin and Miss Art World.
