Roberta Fay Hyman

“I began painting at the age of three. My first painting was on the wall of my parents home without permission; needless to say they were not too happy about that. My family and I moved to Los Angeles when I was a child, and L.A. has been my home ever since. My education included attending and winning awards at North Hollywood High School, UCLA, the Chouinard Art Institute and Otis Art Institute. I also have had the opportunity to meet an incredible number of people through my work as both an educator and a small business owner. I have sold my paintings to collectors around the world and I am proud to say I have a wonderful clientele. Much of our life is filled with the sunshine of Southern California which is reflected in my work. I believe in strength through colors and hope. I work in acrylics and water colors on the finest canvas and acid-free paper.”
